Connoisseurs can experience a unique concept in a class of its own in and with our Salon Rouge catering carriage from the Belle Époque! The excursion starts at the Brienz Rothorn Railway depot with a look behind the scenes and interesting background information. Half an hour later, the train sets off from Brienz with a historic coal-fired steam locomotive and the Salon Rouge. Passing forests and flower meadows with cosy stops along the way and a total of eleven courses, our guests are treated to a full meal in the Salon Rouge – experience gastronomy at its finest!

10.15 a.m. | Arrival on the ramp at the BRB depot, welcome and admission
10.25 a.m. | Insight into the workshop and subsequent transfer to the train at the station
10.45 a.m. | Departure from Brienz
12.15 p.m. | Arrival at Rothorn Kulm
12.45 p.m. | Return journey from Rothorn Kulm
14.35 p.m. | Arrival in Brienz

The gourmet experience can be booked for CHF 275.00 per person and includes the short depot tour, the return journey, water, eleven courses and wine accompaniment.
