The association Steam friends Brienz Rothorn Railway is committed to ensuring that the wonderful steam operation remains so despite the many adversities and the requirements of today's railway regulations. The railway should be preserved, maintained and the relic of times long past should flourish. It is important to the patrons' association that the original steam operation with its beautiful locomotives does not disappear into a museum, but can be shown in daily use in summer.
