The Brienz Rothorn Railway is a historic steam cogwheel train. The journey to Rothorn Kulm takes around an hour and the number of compositions per departure time is limited to a maximum of three, partly due to the length of the crossing. Therefore, on nice summer days, there may either be longer waiting times or even all trains may be sold out.
